Acting Out

Acting Out – A group of young world changers that share education and resources surrounding community health and wellness as it relates to substance abuse, mental health, bullying, suicide and more through art, drama, policies and advocacy


Safe Server Training

Safe Server Training – Heartland Core Wellness offers Safe Server Training through TIPS® (Training for Intervention Procedures).  This skills-based training program is designed to prevent intoxication, drunk driving and underage drinking by enhancing the fundamental “people skills” of servers, sellers and consumers of alcohol. TIPS gives individuals the knowledge and confidence they need to recognize potential alcohol-related problems and intervene to prevent alcohol-related tragedies


Healthy Start Campaign

Healthy Start Program – The Healthy Start Program is a free, evidence based voluntary program for pregnant women and infants. The goal of the Healthy Start Program is to promote healthy pregnancies and positive birth outcomes to reduce prematurity and infant mortality


Reading Rounds

Reading Rounds – Broadcasted live via social media, this initiative allows public health partners to educate the community of listeners while engaging them in an online conversation.  This allows the organization to strengthen partnerships and educate the community while gauging the climate of local  public health issues.



Farfromhünger –  A partnership with Eatwell Exchange, Heartland Foodbank, Adventist Health and other community partners. This program provides nutrition education, food prep demonstrations, community gardens, blood pressure checks, cessation classes and more
